Welcome from the Principal

Welcome to the Davis High School web page.  It is a pleasure to be the principal at this great school. Since I came to A.C. Davis, I have discovered countless artifacts and documents that celebrate the rich history and traditions of excellence over the past 104 years.  There have been countless numbers of alumni who have become extraordinary people.  It is always a pleasure to welcome and meet all former Pirates.

Our staff is working hard to support our students and parents in all their endeavors.  We will continue to implement our school improvement plan and seek new opportunities to improve our communication with our parents and community.  We will continue to focus on reading/math and graduation standards for all students.

Over the past 7 years the Davis students have made this community proud.  They are the heart and spirit that has raised standards academically.  Our athletics and co-curricular clubs have performed to higher standards winning state championships and competing in national contests.  Their performance in all our programs is more meaningful by the way they carry themselves as ambassadors of A.C. Davis High School.  It is a great feeling to see compassionate, kind and focused students working to the best of their abilities.

Over the next few years, Davis will be under construction.  As we begin this renovation, it will require us to work together.  We will continue to send out information on major changes.  The projects will alter some of our past customs and traditions but allow us to expand and provide quality programs.  The new Davis can be viewed at: this link

We hope this website is another tool to provide good communication between Davis and its’ community.  If you have any questions feel free to call.  It is vital that the Davis community is informed and ready to meet all graduation standards.

***Special thanks to the class of 2012.  It was a very special group of young men and women. They helped shape and change the culture of this school by striving for excellence with determination and enthusiasm.  We wish them the best of luck in their new future endeavors.
