We at Lewis and Clark Middle School after just completing another successful academic year, continue to strive to become a true school of excellence. Our school motto is Character, Commitment, Excellence which we promote, role model and practice in our school every day. Our staff is committed to educate each student to reach their full potential and become a responsible, contributing member of their community.  This year our major focus is on reading, writing and mathematics. We work collaboratively to increase our student’s achievements by reviewing data and research, instructional strategies, learning targets, measurements and evidence of implementation and achievement. Our faculty participates in a variety of professional development in the areas of math, science and literacy to stay updated and current with best practices in teaching.

We believe our school is an extension of the student’s home, and during the year we create opportunities for parents/ families to participate in school events such as Math night, Wax museum and PTSA activities.

As we continue forward to start of this academic year I invite you to visit our school. Thank you to the students, parents, staff, and community for working together making our school a great place to learn.

Our doors are open to you

Lewis & Clark Middle School doors are open to our students for before and after-school tutoring in reading and math, and supportive activities made possible through our 21st Century Learning grant. In the evening, we open our doors to our community and English learning classes. Our computer research lab classrooms are open after school for our students to study and for their parents to use our Parent Access program; informing them of their student’s attendance, grades and discipline on any given day. It is another way for the parents and staff to communicate. We invite you to come and visit our school.
